Learning about Health and Wealth

First I'd like to thank Christine and Liz for allowing me to share my story with you on their website.  Because of their inspiration and motivation I hope when you read my story, you too will "Feel the Fear, and Do It Any Way" because great things are waiting for you!

My story begins when my children left for college making me the proverbial "empty nester". I heard about this time of life, but I wasn't prepared. I remember vividly the day I stood in my kitchen in Baraboo, Wisconsin, thinking "I didn't see this coming!"  We had just transferred here for my husbands new job, so he was away much of the time and now the kids were off to college. There I was all alone in a strange place. Well meaning people often lent support telling me to "do anything you want – this is your time", but I had absolutely no idea how exactly to do that. I missed playing with my best friends: my son, my daughter and my husband. I knew depression was setting in and I was the only one who could change this.  But how?

A few months later, my husband received another new job offer that we couldn't refuse, this time in Arizona. Again, I stood in my kitchen thinking "I didn't see this coming!"  I moved from Wisconsin where I'd lived for 48 years, to go across the country- leaving all our family and friends behind to start over.  Well, there were signs constantly appearing in front of me showing me that I was to go on this adventure with my husband – like the same day we got the offer I ended up parking next to a person with license plates from Tucson, Arizona!  I knew depression was setting in even more now, mostly out of fear, and I was the only who could change this.  But how?

After we were settled in, I received an email from my sister back home, about an ad on Craigslist.org for a "Virtual Assistant" position, just my forte. So, I applied via email and after a couple of phone interviews, I was hired over the phone by none other than  Christine Harvey, author of 6 best selling books and a motivational speaker. Christine then introduced me to Liz Uible, co-founder of WomenforWealth.com. Once again, I stood in my kitchen thinking "I didn't see this coming!"  I would never imagined being hired without actually meeting my employers in person. I would have never imagined I could actually work from home in my pajamas and have the hours I want.  The best part, I was working for prominent women who motivate other women to live their lives the best way possible, mentally and financially!  My depression was lifting.

As Christine travels a great deal, we often go over our 'to do' list by phone.  She had asked me to stop at her home in Tucson to pick up some work and a bottle of MonaVie she wanted me to try. All she said was "try it and you will have lots of energy and feel great!".   She said nothing more.  On my 49^th birthday, I decided to open the bottle and give it a shot - literally, being you drink 1-2oz./day.  After the 3^rd day, I realized she was absolutely right!  I drank it. I felt great!  People started commenting that I sounded so up beat on the phone, while my outlook on life improved incredibly. I was actually beating my depression!  Wahooo!!! 

Again, in another phone conversation, I mentioned to Christine how wonderful I was feeling and she asked if I wanted to become a distributor, which would save me money on future purchases of MonaVie. Still not really knowing the full picture about this product, I just felt I had everything to gain by joining up based on the fact that I trusted Christine Harvey's opinion, and my own personally new found stamina. Well, one more time, I stood in my kitchen thinking "I didn't' see this coming!"  The business opportunity that MonaVie offers wasn't hard to understand and I could never have imagined earning the potential income that MonaVie offers.

I truly believe that God put good things on this earth for us to heal ourselves. And I believe MonaVie, with it's acai berry based fruit juice, ranks as a true gift from above.  I threw out all my vitamin supplements, I threw out the Black Co hash (wasn't helping with the hot flashes), bought walking shoes (I'm up to 6 miles a day) and I am feeling terrific!

I knew the results would be different for different people, so I began sharing what I'd learned with friends and family members, only to hear them have the same reaction I did – "wow, it's amazing!" As my sister back home in the Midwest says – "the gift of MonaVie will probably go down in our family history books as one of the most mutually beneficial gifts ever to pass across our hands – not to mention, one of the more delicious ones!"  (She listened, she drank it, she feels good – really good!  Now she's a distributor too!)

Now, when I hear something worthwhile, I may develop a little fear factor, but I listen.  My sister, being the more skeptical one in the bunch, did more of the homework, researched online, asked the company many direct & pointed questions, and even checked out the competition both online and in local health food stores around town.  We agreed, the product and the science made for a compelling opportunity, so it didn't take us long to want to get on board.

The beauty of this type of this business is I get to work my own life around it, not the other way around.  I can choose how to work it, setting my own pace.  As such, while I can enjoy the benefits of the product, it's the potential financial upside that has me so excited!  To be able to share about this 'acai-licious' health drink with people all around me – on my own terms and on a schedule I choose to create – what a win-win proposition!

The $39 starter kit, along with a few bottles of product, seemed a pretty reasonable risk for a foot in the door to a growing business.  Yet, I didn't have to have a business degree to do it.  And clearly the people, tools and training materials available through MonaVie, will be there supporting me throughout my journey!

So when you see business opportunities out there as you go about life, I hope you will spend the time and energy to do some research and learn about them rather than ignoring them.  That way, you may find yourself standing in your kitchen one day saying "I didn't see this coming!"
